Well I've got a lot of my local friends from my gaming group that are interested. Heck, if you've got the old VoV admins emails, feel free to contact them. Invite bbg, although I'm not sure she still plays. I will see if Ori is interested and a couple others.  I'm putting together a step by step guide on getting NWN and getting it to work with our network (I hope to migrate the test mod over to its permanent home over the holiday break). It will be on a fixed IP, which will make many things easier. If you know anyone interested, I recommend getting the game from GOG.com. And the haks and stuff have been preserved/restored at the nwnvaults.org, so I'm getting those links together as well. Yes, it's becoming a project, and I'm currently working 1.8 jobs, so not a lot of free time, but I plan on getting this going and making it work! |

Welcome back. Glad to see you! Hopefully, we can get some east coast people closer to your time zone. I am working on some new low-level areas in and around Verbabonc and Hommlet to add some flavor to the area. Whenever someone is ready to help with some building (ideas are welcome, actual builders even more so!), feel free to chime in. |

I'm happy to build. I'll need to refamiliarize myself with the respawning treasure scripts, etc... I must remember to only use cep 2 though. The latest release was huge, and with some cool updates, but nothing was absolutely necessary.

The VoV mod is using 2.3, so it's not that far out of date current is what, 2.6? I did read that there was a lot of stuff in it, though. If you think it's worth it, I'll update the CEP hak. Never done it before, but the tutorial made it sound pretty straightforward. What could go wrong??  |
